I Think Rush Really Stepped In It This Time

"But regardless, what this is, somebody has either written this for him or gotten to him," Limbaugh added. "This is just pure Marxism coming out of the mouth of the Pope."

At a time when the GOP should be trying to get every vote they can their mouthpiece makes a comment like this.

Catholics make up 25% of the U.S. population.

If Jesus was alive today, would Rush call him a Marxist?

Recovering drug addict Rush has done far worse and survived. I like what the Pope said. It is good to see the church get back to helping people.
25% OF THE POPULATION? That's nothing. I believe he called a woman a "slut" for wanting access to contraception last year. What percentage of the US population are women? I don't know what that particular woman's religion was....what if she was a Catholic woman? Wowza!

But don't worry - I'm sure his ratings wont suffer. There's quite a large audience for that kind of thing.

And you know that Good Samaritan that JC liked to talk about? He was an illegal alien.
That gives you an idea about the mental state of his listeners.

Hey Forkrush,

For your information:

The lessons of the Parable of the Good Samaritan are three-fold: (1) we are to set aside our prejudice and show love and compassion for others. (2) Our neighbor is anyone we encounter; we are all creatures of the creator and we are to love all of mankind as Jesus has taught. (3) Keeping the law in its entirety with the intent to save ourselves is an impossible task; we need a savior, and this is Jesus.

DonDiego has no objection to Pope Francis's objection to "the idolatry of money" and his criticism of some modern day economies and his call for charity. In fact, DonDiego agrees with the potential dangers presented by the concentration of wealth often resulting from alliances among big-business and big-government and big-politics.

[DonDiego wonders how much of the Pope's Evangelii Gaudium those who employ it to belittle Mr. Limbaugh actually agree with.]

But, in any case, the good news is if one were to choose to disagree with the Pope's proposal, one is no longer significantly endangered by a papal Army intent on enforcing it.

Not that such religious danger no longer exists elsewhere, . . . predominantly in some States with allegiance to Islam, f'rinstance. And, in the secular sphere any Government with a military/police/bureaucratic presence capable of causing one harm, . . . usually an autocratic State that knows what is best for everyone.

Actually the victim wasn't saved by Jesus at all, was he? He had the good fortune to run into an illegal alien, after having the bad fortune of running into people who proclaimed their holier-than-thou piety.

Just like it is today.
I'm sure glad that Tuton monitors Rush for the rest of us.
