That was JFK shitting on trickle-down Reaganomics. Of course history has already pretty much shit on trickle-down, so there's that. And Kennedy fought for civil rights, an increase in Social Security and unemployment insurance payments, a higher minimum wage, and increased welfare payments and the introduction of food stamps.
But speaking of Reagan, how do you think a candidate who advocated increased Social Security taxes, abortion rights, immigration reform, separation of church and state, and fairer middle class tax rates compared with the wealthy would do in today's Republican Party. Ronnie would be doomed, wouldn't he?
