Ice Cream

What's your favorite brand and flavor of store bought ice cream? My 3 favorite flavors are from Ben and Jerry's.....

1) Boston Cream Pie

2) Strawberry Cheesecake

3) Half Baked (Half vanilla with chocolate chip cookie dough/ half chocolate with brownie chunks)

Chocolate Therapy.

Maybe I could choose something else?

Ice Cream Story

This story reminds me of an old SNL comedy skit.

My favorite flavor is Superman, but I never find it in the grocery store....I've never spent a penny on Ben and Jerrys since they supported the release of the Cop Killer way back when.

The first two to pop into my mind are Baskin Robbins Chocolate-Peanut butter (I know its not from a store but you can buy quarts to go) and Schwan's Heath Bar Caramel Crunch (that's probably not the exact name). I am not loyal to a certain brand. It just depends on what's on sale. There's no such thing as bad ice cream.

I'm really not an ice cream fan and could easily go the rest of my life not eating it That being said, the only ice cream I've really loved has been the old fashioned kind made with eggs and then frozen in an ice cream freezer (frozen custard).



If I were going to buy ice cream in the store, though, it would be Breyers Mint Chocolate Chip (non-green).

I have been boycotting Ben & Jerry's for years. I wouldn't buy their ice cream if they made my 10 favorite flavors. Unfortunately I do love ice cream and probably eat about 3 pints a week. My favorite changes frequently, but one that recently comes to mind is the special edition Bailey's Irish Cream that Haagen-Dazs no longer makes. Haagen-Dazs is brand I purchase most by far.

Store bought - Blue Bunny Bordeaux cherry . . . Soft serve - Carvel Vanilla.
