If nature calls;take your cashout ticket first!

Somebody slap me "(up the side of the head!)".I have been playing long enough to know better but recently at the Silverado Bar at the South Point probably due to to too many soothing brown beverages I went to the restroom and tipped my chair against the VP machine and covered the screen with Two Napkins. When I returned there were two guys sitting either side of the VP machine and one of them tapping the keys. There was one bartender and only one other player 3 seats down from my position and all other bar tops vacant. I was astonished and asked the bigger guy what the heck he was doing playing my machine that still had the napkins over it and the seat tilted inwards. He told me he was "just hitting the keys to understand the game.I told him I thought he was trying to steal the money I had in there. He became very aggressive so I called the Bartender who glanced over and carried on doing his work.I sat down to play,(the money was still on the machine) with one of them each side of me and they finally left after a few minutes growling and staring at me on the way out.Needless to say it was a bit nerve racking wondering if an altercation was about to begin. At my age I would have no chance.Seems "Bizarro"!so everybody remember don't have the blind faith I do and take your money out even if somebody says they will watch it for you and it will save any possible problems arising.
There are scumbag a-holes everywhere, including your bartender. I hope you didn't tip him.
Tip the chair, cover the screen with napkins, ask the bartender to hold the machine, .... yada, ........ Yada, ............. YADA.

...... but You Just HAVE to Ca$h Out Man.

Life's Hard, but It's Harder If You're Stupid.

"He told me he was "just hitting the keys to understand the game."

Now that is a new one.

Other than leaving chips at a table to use the bathroom, I don't think I could ever leave money on a machine. The bartender is too busy to cover you the whole time you are gone.

If I have to do the whole 'tip the chair, ask someone to watch' routine I usually cash out and put a $5 in. With $5 in, someone is less likely to untip your chair and steal your machine while you are in the restroom. $5 is a chance I am willing to take

I draw the line at $4

I left $10 in one time at MGM in Vegas. When I got back it was gone. I told the bartender, they don't even do that in Detroit. Learned my lesson.
I was wondering who would be the first one with a nasty comment and frankly it surprised me it was you Rick as before I have read your comments telling people certain statements were uncalled for on the boards. Thanks for letting me know that my life has not been easy because "I am Stupid".
"just playing with the buttons" I wonder what he would do if I just "just played with my drink a bit, and spilled it over his head".

Of course one should never leave any cash in the machine for people you like to just play with the buttons.
I learned my lesson last Saturday night.
