If One Enjoyed the Eclipse . . .

. . . wait'll next month when there is a "transit of venus"! One can observe the planet Venus pass between the Sun and the Earth.

Here's the details of the 5 June 2012 Venus Transit: Observers' Guide

It's an opportunity to employ one's eclipse-goggles or welder's glass. Oh, and if one misses this transit of venus, one will need to wait until 2117 for the next one.
I'll be kinda busy...I think I'll wait till the next one.

The world ends late 2012 so better catch one while you can.
Went to Utah and saw the eclipse with my own eyes. If you are on g+ email me at [email protected] and I will add you so you can see the pix (sorry no actual eclipse pix). It was a wonderful experience. And yes, I will be watching the transit.

You should too - there have only been 8 since the invention of the telescope.

We were told that you left LVA. I don't know if you are posting as the moderator or only as a poster, but I'm happy to see you.
Yes I left after almost 8 years.

I still check in from time to time. Made a lot of friends here.
