Immigration speech

November 5th he said wanted Congress to pass legislation he could sign before the end of the year or he would act on his own. I guess two weeks later is the end of the year to the Kenyan, who will intentionally hurt black people in America with his actions....and he knows it will hurt them.

DonDiego, you may find this embarrassing, but how about providing the actual quote?

DonDiego felt like forkushV was undressing him with his eyes.

Republicans are weighing their options in light of the executive order. Good news! - A shutdown is off the table. They're making great progress.

But dont worry....hearings, lawsuits, obstruction and plenty of sour faces are still viable options. Whats not on the table? Any Congressional legislation to address immigration reform.

PJ has yet to answer the question of what is the constitutional authority that allows the president to make a law when the Congress won't pass a law that he wants?

As recently as last year obama said he didn't have the authority - what changed?

You're right, Hoops. I didn't answer because I know the difference between "written law" and "executive order". I see you didn't take my advice and have a high school kid explain that difference to you. There's still time.

You can't find where he has the constitutional authority to make a law, as recently as last year he said he didn't have the authority. What changed?

So what you are saying that the president has unlimited power in issuing executive orders. So why have a Congress?

Or better yet - why have one standard when you can have two?

If this executive order is illegal or unconstituional then there would be no precedent of other presidents doing the same thing. Except there is. History exists as a constant despite any and all attempts made by Hoops to rewrite it. And legalities are uniform for all people - not just the ones Hoops picks and chooses.

The definition of "unconstitutional" is not "anything that makes Hoops upset". Its a real word and it has a real meaning. Just like "law" and "executive order". Find that high school kid, Hoops. You desperately need his help.

So why did obama last year say he didn't have the legal authority?
