Can you imagine what Americans would think if Colin Powell was charged and John Kerry was charged and one of Condoleeza Rice's top aides was charged too? Oh, and probably dozen's of former State and Defense Department staffers? All because of something that began as a partisan effort to pillory Hillary?

Secretary Clinton would win in a landslide, even if she ran against a combination of Jesus Christ and Betty White.

DonDiego has consistently posited within this Forum that if someone violates the Law those who enforce the Law should apprehend, try, and carry out appropriate punishment.

Perhpas poor old DonDiego's imagination is less inventive than forkushV's.

But actually just such a question as forkushV asks is precisely why every Law should be enforced to the fullest. Otherwise one gets into the quandary posed by forkushV, . . . when some get punished and some do not get punished the citizenry rightly wonder who is making the decision whom to prosecute.
If Society does not choose to have a Law enforced uniformly it is an invitation to the Powers-That-Be to decide such questions as they please.
If a law is not going to be enforced, . . . or enforced selectively, . . . it should not be on the books.
[n.b. DonDiego opines Law against revealing classified information is a good thing.]

Ahh, . . . see ! Exactly as DonDiego suggested, only bad consequences can follow from i. selective enforcement of the Law or ii. consistent enforcement of a poor Law.

DonDiego supposes that Jesus Christ and Betty White would sweep the South, and the Mid-west. Retirees in Florida and Arizona would support the Betty White ticket. Illinois would be in play because it is Ms. White's home-state. And Jesus Christ would carry some big-cities because of a metropolitan Catholic presence putting, f'rinstance, Massachusetts into play..
It would be closer than forkushV thinks.
The election might well come down to the City of Chicago and the numerous metropolises within Ohio.

However, if Hillary were to choose Lucifer as her VP, she would be certain of carrying New Orleans, Las Vegas, St. Louis/East St. Louis, Baltimore, San Francisco/Oakland, Detroit, and the Big Apple, and Newark. . . and pr'bly Portland, OR and Madison, WI.

If Clinton did not have a state dept email acct then she would then have to have to have conducted all state dept business on the private server. So is she saying that she did not receive any top secret emails?

I don't know.

But per DonDiego, she should be arrested, along with Colin Powell, John Kerry, on of Condoleeza's top staffers, along with dozens of State and Defense Department underlings. That should go over real well.

No arrest should not be based upon "how well it goes over".

An arrest should be based upon evidence of violation of the law.
