The Impossible Question

Who is Alan Mendelson? The joke was lost on me.

My day consists of when I wake up to when I go to bed.

A nap normally lasts an hour or 2 where sleep is 3 hours or longer. (I sleep 3 hours a day while in Vegas)

I might have been confusing Alan Mendelson and MoneyLA.

Didn't really mean my comment as a joke. Just have seen too many topics that weren't that compelling to start with get hashed over and rehashed in excruciating detail. Had a bad feeling about this thread, but might have been misinterpreting it.

I'm single. I only lie to myself.

Wait, what, Vegas has 'days'? I thought time slowed to a stop once you entered a casino. How else do you explain all the people who fly in for a weekend and park their bags in the room, and never set foot in the room until they pick them up when they have to leave?

Of course this opens up the whole concept of relativity, which is a subset of winning and losing....and the distortion of reality that casinos have perfected.

Hmm...this thread seems to have run it's course. I was getting some really stellar and differing opinions, but it seems no one is actually reading the question and trying to answer it anymore.

So here's a follow up question on some of your answers.

I expressly stated in the question, "Your goal is to answer as truthfully as possible without confabulation or obfuscation. There is no need to sugar coat the truth or deceive, as you budgeted appropriately for the trip. You simply need to answer the question accurately. "

Even though honesty was a requirement of the test, a huge number of the serious answers I have gotten have suggested distorting the result based on what the wife would say--or made some reference to lying.

What's going on here? The goal of the question was to be honest. Are people not reading the entire post, not taking it seriously, or is the truth simply not in them?

I'm perplexed at some of these answers.

It's not an impossible question. My answer is "I'm hanging in there/holdin' my own, isn't vacation great?!?"
