surprisingly and mostly on the count of our son. If you've been noticing our on again off again attempts to travel for the past year it currently stands Tahoe is now out, Vegas is on for March. Geez man, start out trying key west for last summer, too expensive, couldn't swing it, then Orlando for son's international soccer tourney and peritonitis struck, cancelled. Had a really cool long weekend in Baltimore's inner Harbor for a boat show for my B-day(wanted this more for M than me, she really really needs and deserves a break),but lo and behold I trip in the garage and BREAK MY F'n HIP!! I can say that laughingly and a grin on my face because with everything I've been through, it's the only way you can appraoch it, otherwise you'd walk around a depressed basketcase
It turns out A (our 18YO son) has been skyping with a girl he knows who lives in Vegas and since everything else has fallen through and this actually looks like a go,have a 1 bed place at polo towers. She lives in N LV so I really don't know how this trip is going to unfold, how much time are we going to all be together, is he going to be non-existent or are we gonna entertain the both of 'em. I know we're gonna do some absolutes as a family like hoover dam and grand canyon and some strip things like strat and what-not so I suppose it will prob end up half and half. I really wonder how it will all strike him, he's heard me for years talk about I much I love Vegas and will it strike him like me? or M?, who likes Vegas, but not on a regular basis. I've joked at the dinner table for years about how I'm gonna take him there for his 21st just he and I, that always gets a rile out of M . Well I suppose we'll find out come March, which I'm really thinking is going to happen, I'm taking all precautions so this trip works, so wish us luck!
