In N Out Burger

I had my first In N Out Burger to-day in Phoenix. Now I understand why people go there when they

are in Vegas. I will be sure to hit their establishment sometime next week when I'm in Vegas too.

Yummy.

Yep, the double-double is quite delicious.
There are several locations. The price is really good, for what you get. And the old school setting is kind of cool.
On the East Coast, we don't have them or Carl Jrs. For the value, I prefer Carl Jrs. IN and Out is quite good, but I like Carl Jrs better.
Don't care for I&Os fries.

In the South, Carls JR is the same as Hardees. They have the same menu and logo and are owned by the same company.

Good burgers around here are at Five Guys and Steak-N-Shake.
Had five guys the other day very tastey.
Nancy, if you're still in town, try Smashburger, but skip the sweet potato fries.

I think there's a world of difference between In N Out and Carl's Jr and would select In N Out every time.
If you like cheeseburgers and want a real treat at In-N-Out, get your burgers "animal style," which is not on the menu. You get extra grilled onions and extra special sauce on your burger which makes for a tasty, drippy treat.
Had In-N-Out burgers for the first time when I was in Vegas in September (location on Tropicana near I-15). We don't have them in Minnesota. It was a busy lunch on Labor Day about 11:45 am. Place was extremely busy, but service was very orderly and the burgers were excellent!! Hard to pick between In-N-Out and Five Guys, which I had recently here in Minnesota for the first time.
The problem with their fries is that they are too skinny. They cool off too fast if you take them home, and warming them up in a microwave is just unacceptable. Like Fat Burgers Fat Fries instead.
