In Outer Space

The comet PANSTARRS may be visible in the western sky later this week. Here's a skymap of where to look, say, this weekend:

But there's more!

The Comet ISON will be grazing the Sun in a few months, . . . and could be spectacular sometime before Christmas, . . . also in the western sky shortly after sunset.

"And now, . . . I bring you a warning: Everyone of you listening to my voice, . . . Watch the skies. Everywhere. Keep looking. Keep watching the skies." ___Ned "Scotty" Scott, The Thing From Another World [1951]

How Fascinating

Rick
I will be in a perfect place this Friday night for viewing. Sailing down the west side of Catalina and San Clemente islands way offshore of California. However the forecast is for stormy conditions. May not get to see the sky.
I'll be sure to keep looking up. Thanks for the info DD.

Keep you feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.
