In a perfect world, who would you like to see as our next President?

Alan Leroy
Sir Don Diego
Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, or JFK.

Although Lincoln would immediately be called racist by the NAACP.
Well I hate all politicians. So none of them. So definitely an outsider. Not knowing any of the Sharks. I like them all. Mostly me wonderful and mark Cubans as well. I do like the short haired lady as well. I do not know anything of them outside of the Sharks though. But in today's world if you haven't had a "scandal" you must be pretty squared away.

Both warren Buffett and bill gates seem like good candidates.

No actor that "saves" anything please so a no to Sean Penn. Leo. George clooney. Etc

Hmmm. Good question. But right now my vote is for none of the above for sure.

The qualities we need though...Someone successful in money domestically. Someone versed and diplomatic but smart and tough on foreign matters. Someone to deal with our moral and mental health crisis. Drug use and mental health issues (mass murder suicide shootings). We need to evaluate the real causes and deal with them including an unhealthy media relation, community and familial breakdowns, divisive and destructive leaders and policitians inciting them and us. Education in our schools instead of paper distribution. We are falling behind. No more ribbons for participating. But all that is in a "perfect" world. it starts at home and in the community and spreads from there. When we get that in order, the country will be in order.

Poor old DonDiego opines that a Presidential candidate should be:
Trustworthy,
Loyal,
Helpful,
Friendly,
Courteous,
Kind,
Obedient,
Cheerful,
Thrifty,
Brave,
Clean,
and Reverent.

Why, yes, . . . . yes that fellow would pretty much fit the bill, . . . except perhaps for the "obedient" business, but that is really more suitable in a wife than a President. Oh, and Sir DonDiego is not particularly friendly or cheerful, . . . but that's not particularly important. Otherwise he'd be just about perfect, . . . 'kept for his lack of reverence, . . . oh, and bravery.

Maybe the Country would be better served by someone else.
Dee Dee Myers. She's Hillary Clinton if Hillary was cool instead of abrasive.

Dude, sounds like the guy the country elected in 2000. (And that's what passes for a "moderate" these days in the GOP.)

Jimmy Buffett
Kasich eliminated the Ohio deficts and worked with both parties to make reduce the unemployment rate and make Ohio one of the better job producing states. Yes he cut the income tax, but considering most of the income tax comes from the higher earners, one cannot cut taxes on people who don't pay any. He did increase the sales tax 0.25%, which is paid by all.

forky who doesn't work only votes for people who promise taxes on those that work, more free stuff & increased deficits.
John McCain from 2000.
Not the one that ran in 2008 after selling out.

I think he might have won if he had stayed with his 2000 platform and rhetoric.
