I'm not sure what Universe you're living in Boilerman.

Democrats had the courage to pass a healthcare law in 2009. And they had the courage to pay for it with horrible things like: Individual Mandates, a Cadillac Tax, a tanning bed Tax, and a medical device tax.

Republicans have been telling us for 8 years they could offer the same Consumer Protections as Obamacare without the implementation of any of those payment mechanisms. We now know that was just bullshit they said to appease uninformed zealots in their base. (Actually I knew that all along).

The free shit Republicans promised actually costs money. And they are coming to terms with that and now embracing many of the attributes they used to cry about (and making them worse). Its hard to be the king.

Under TrumpCare, people who receive health insurance from their employers will now have it count as income and have to pay income tax on it. Then trump will claim that that income has gone up under his rule.
Under TrumpCare, a sixty year old multi- millionaire will get a bigger tax credit than a poor 25 year old. Preliminary reports say about seven million people will lose their Medicaid coverage.
But trump will watch out for the forgotten people and the military. Unless, of course, you think that closing down day care centers on military bases isn't a good thing.
