ip

thinking of staying at the ip in a month. the room is comped but how bad is the work being done. Will it bother me at night or in the morning?

The IP has location.
I cannot think of one other good thing to say about it. But if you only use it as a place to sleep you are in a great location.

Yeah i stayed there last year. just wondering how all the work is affecting a stay there.

I was there in May. Had a room overlooking pool. The construction started at about 5:00 am. The thing that woke me in the morning was the sound of the warning beep when a truck backs up.

Not sure where to ask for a room now. Try to avoid Carnival Court as they are loud until 3 or 4 am. If you stay up late this may be the side to ask for. The pool veiw and back view will have the noise early in the morning then through the day.

Again this was in mid May. Things may have changed.

I walked by in early July and the front was a mess. I didn't notice any detour signs and found myself having to choose between climbing through the bars on the temporary construction fence or walking on Las Vegas Blvd on a Saturday night. I climbed through the fence. Thank God I didn't get stuck like Winnie the Pooh.

thanks for the help. everything you have said is what i have heard. just was not sure since some dont like the ip no matter what it seems.

I just got back last night from Vegas,I wished I would have kept my resv for te IP. I changed to Harrahs next door and the customer service was terrible not friendly at all. Im not in great health wanted some type of view in case I had to spend some time in room well I was told over and over again pay $15 extra a night or no view. When ever I stayed at the IP they ALWAYS did what they could for me I didnt hear any noise I would go over there at 6am and there are workers but theres noise everywhere in Vegas Enjoy your trip!!
