Very rarely will I attack anyone on this forum and I try to not be outright rude to anyone. As someone who had a nephew who was severely mentally handicapped to the point where he died from complications just over 3 years ago, I am quite offended - but I digress.
The whole WMD was a sham. Agreed. In my opinion, this was a bullshit excuse to do something that should have been done long before. As has been mentioned earlier, Hussein was playing games with the inspectors. To end the Gulf War, he agreed to be completely open to the UN inspectors. I believe as soon as he started to not live up to his word, he should have been taken out. Period. I don't care if the President at the time was Democrat, Republican, Independant, Whig, Libertarian, Independant, etc.
In my simple, feeble mind, we kick your ass, we agree to stop when you agree to certain conditions, you don't live up to those conditions, we're gonna kick your ass again.
As far as going political, look at the first post "And for it to take just eight and a half years longer than the prior administration said it would take! Very impressive!" This thread started as political.
