No - I would simply acknowledge that you are citing an actual statistic vs something you made up (like with Bengazhi, Ebola, White House IRS meddling, Obama's secret socialist agenda..etc, etc...)..
I'm simply giving you the opportunity to make an intelligent point with real data for people to consider. You can rest your case on an intelligent source or you can demand readers take your word for it. If you want people to take your thread seriously it might be wise to go with the former...ya know, considering your history.
