Is anyone else excited about the changes at the Silverton?

Hi,
I love staying at the Silverton. I am excited that they have a new tower that is almost completed and that the Cracker Barrel restaurant and country store will be there too. Does anyone know if the tower will have regular guest rooms or just time share places? I wonder if the Silverton will keep their Sundance Grill since the food is sort of similar to the Cracker Barrel?
I'm so happy that the Silverton seems to be doing well. The employees are really nice and their bed and bedding is like sleeping on a cloud.

I also like the hotel - and I think they have one of the better "value" buffets in that $20 range. I never seem to do well in the casino so I generally avoid playing there unless I'm staying there

Cracker Barrel. Oh joy. Bad food. Bad kitsch. Maybe they'll nuke Bass Pro Shops and put in Walmart, too.

Silverton has been one of our go-to spots for a while.

The tower is a time share. not open tohotel guests.

Cracker Barrel has great food.

Crapper Barrel???

That place gives me the runs.

The drunken apples at CB are the bomb.

We had an incident at our local CB last time we were there about a year ago and haven't been back. We will probably never go back it was so bad. I hope the one at Silverton is better.

We've to Silverton/BPS the last two black Fridays on our way to the airport.

That's always the intention, anyway. We'll see how well those timeshares sell. If they struggle you can bet you'll see those units listed on Expedia

I would like to stay in the new tower when it opens but I'm not buying a time share.
Did any of you try the noodle place in the Silverton? We have great asian food here in Hawaii so I don't eat that type of food when I'm in Las Vegas.

As PJ said, "I never seem to do well in the casino".
The same holds true for both Rock'n Rita and me.
However, I do like the place and their machines seem newer and clean.
Incoming planes fly pretty low over that new tower.
I really wish they could work out a deal with the
Bass Pro Shop so we could use our player points there.
