This Saturday night the Nascar season starts off with the Bud Shootout. I think this should be an exciting race. With the track being repaved plus with nothing on the line except pride and cash, I think we are going to see some aggressive driving.

Just hope that this year someone knocks Jimmie Johnson down a few notches.

I am not a NASCAR fan but a good friend of mine has an infield spot at Daytona for 14 years and counting. I asked him the other day about Earnhart Jr. He laughed . He told Junior has had some of the best cars and can't do crap with them. He thinks he is afraid to get hurt . Why would he want to get hurt . I think he has more money than all of them with his endorsements.

Hell yeah, I am ready!

And in responce to sulobo9142, I don't believe JR is afraid to get hurt, I believe racing isn't really his thing. I just don't think he has the passion to race anymore especially since his Dad died. Yea, I know he was really putting an effort into racing the first couple of years or so after Dale Sr died but since then he seems to have lost his passion and drive to race. His heart just doesn't seem to be into racing any longer.

I am ready for NASCAR! I hate the 2 1/2 month lay off. I believe there WILL BE a 6 peat. This will be the year of putting Gordon into the wall. Seriously I think Juan Pablo will make a good run for the title, and Bowyer to be the runner-up. Junior, in my opinion, has too much in his "endorsement life" to think about his racing life. To bad because his has the talent to win. Smoke will fluster but come back later in the season and make a great charge for the chase and miss it by 6 points. Yes 6 points, I should have placed a wager.
