CEO's never know whats going on in their own company.

That must be why neither Holder nor Obama knew anything about all those guns going to Mexico.

Nice deflection. What is it that moms usually say? Two wrongs make a right? Is that how it goes?

This administration gets caught in a major fuckup sending thousands of guns south of the border, and its response is to slap new restrictions on legal gun sales to American citizens in a few border states.

THAT'S deflection.

It's the hair Alan.

This investigation will end up being a witch hunt as they try to say Rupert was the one who authorized the hackings...
Nah. I can't imagine that Murdoch authorized the hacking, just as no one alleges that Nixon authorized the Watergate break-ins. But it isn't the crime, it's the cover-up that brings these folks down, isn't it?

outside of his powers as commander in chief, the President has very little to do with guns. Not to mention that since taking office, gun 'rights' have been hugely expanded. The President doesn't make laws, he signs them. Did you ever take civics in elementary school?

Also, what does this have to do with newscorp? Sorry if your team is full of liars and cheats, don't blame us

Maybe he can buy FOX news cheap now, and fire his arch enemy Sean Hannity.

hey, maybe it will lead all the way to Glenn Beck!

I wonder if this is why he left Fox. His ratings were down, but he was making a ton of money. Maybe he saw this coming and jumped ship before the shit hit the fan. Now he starts his own media company, Newscorp goes under, and all those old, fat, angry white people can tune into his network instead.

Is it really a witch hunt to investigate the owner of a company that was engaged in a massive conspiracy? #2 was arrested today, but questioning #1 is beyond the pale.

CEO's never know whats going on in their own company. Just ask Ken Lay at Enron.

I wonder how many CEO's you know PJ?

I know 2, and both of their companies employed less than 1,000 folks. It was quite easy to them to know most of the operations, however the are some aspects they only had a very narrow view of what was going on in detail. In my last job the CEO had no clue as to what I was doing or what our lead programmer was up to on an hour by hour bases. He had no idea as to how many stores were down or what equipment was being sent where. The MIS chief barely had a clue as to what was going on in some instances.

So what do you expect someone who employes tens of thousands of folks to know everything that they are doing?
Problem is since she was arrested it appears the British authorities think upper management did know about it. I wounder if she is going to flip on Rupert now.

When the #2 person in an organization is arrested, you have to wonder if the #1 person is involved. This does not appear to a group of rogue reporters working without the upper management knowing about it.

"We've demonstrated our willingness and ability to exclude Fox News from significant interviews…" boasted deputy White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest in an Oct. 23, 2009, e-mail to Jenni LeCompte, then-assistant secretary for public affairs in the Treasury Department.

This administration has been trying to silence Fox for a while...
