Is there anything Bill O’Reilly wouldn't lie about?

Is Malibber not implying that O'Reilly is trying to convince us that he was literally crucified alongside Jesus? If not, please explain what point you are attempting to make.

If it's the first, then you've again confirmed that you're not all with it.

There is no sense letting the truth get in the way of a good story.

O'Reily Vindicated

O'Reilly not vindicated

What’s notable about O’Reilly’s report is what’s not in it. He does not refer to Argentine soldiers gunning down civilians or mention any deaths. He says nothing about soldiers chasing him and his crew. And there’s no reference to a CBS cameraman being injured. (A reporter who witnesses soldiers shooting protesters and killing many civilians would presumably be compelled to report on those horrors.) His report depicts exactly what other journalists and eyewitnesses have said took place: a violent demonstration in which tear gas and rubber bullets were deployed. In this 1982 report, O’Reilly called the demonstration a “disturbance.” But in later years—on his Fox News show, in his writings, and at speaking engagements—he has claimed that the event was a bloody melee that amounted to “combat” in a “war zone.”

Eh, not that big of a deal to me. Doesn't change my opinion of O'Reilly.

What is the point of Malibber's satire? As usual, Forkie hides behind a funny saying or a funny picture.

How weak.

According to Google satire is:
Quote

the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.

You might find the point there.
Its not like Bill lied about his cellphone or anything. Good thing too. Boilerman would've jumped all over that one =)

Journalists should be held to a high level of integrity - so its fair to crucify Brian Williams. Bill O'Reilly is a circus clown that sells books to fearful, xenophobic, white people. He lies for a living and makes a nice profit from it. Just because he's on a network that has "news" in its name does not make him a journalist. Should he be forced to resign? Hell no! Carry on, Bill, and keep up the good work. You remind the growing majority of Americans why they vote for Democrats.

If anyone should be embarrassed its CBS for employing him as a reporter back when he had hair.

That is, until I got the photos developed, and it showed much, much less damage. So I try to be understanding of people who have memories which exaggerate traumatic situations.

But Bill O'Reilly is in a class by himself. He was 1200 miles away from the Falklands, he wasn't even in the city where he claims to have overheard a suicide shotgun blast, and he wasn't even in El Salvador when he claimed to have witness some murders. And that is just a partial list. The man is deeply, fundamentally, dishonest.

And as you can see from this thread, he tends to attract support from like-minded people.

Remember the cop and the bit of missing highway on the 14, about a month earlier I was on that stretch of road delivering a lens assembly to get fixed.
My point is again made. Mally won't even tell us what the point of his satare is, I assume because there is none. Nothing to say and no way to say it.

A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo (Liberals). And, when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones (Liberals) at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members (Liberals).

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells (Liberals). Excessive intake of alcohol, as we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first (Liberals). In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine!
