Is this forum changing to a new site soon?

The site isn't slow. Just the message boards.
Does he profit from the forums? Probably not.
Does he profit from the rest of the site? Most likely.

In the paid side on 3/20/13, the boss man wrote this in response to a poster asking how the upgrade is going;


In progress. Many issues. Solving them one at a time. Revised timeline for launch is about six weeks. I like what I'm seeing.


No April fooling (lol).

The main reason that I have renewed for the past 8 years is for access to all of the forums.
This year I almost didn't renew - because everyone left the forums in droves because they were so painfully slow - but we were assured that the new site was "coming right up" - it obviously wasn't - because it didn't!
Several of us here on the free side came from Kitchen sink - best forum on the site, that was strangled to death by the poor forum performance - and almost everyone left. Now, THIS forum is being destroyed by a few individuals who turn everything into a pissing match - so I have already made the decision to spend FAR less time here than previously.
The coupon book is OK - but most are not valid on holidays - which is the only time I am there.
But - you want to know what really, really, really pissed me off? They couldn't even acknowledge the passing of Gregrio - one of the absolute most valuable members of all of these forums. They could not even put up one damn sentence to recognize his contributions, or his passing. THAT pissed me off.
