Is This How The Wynn Treats Sexual Assault Victims?

Last night I had my body and vagina groped by a stranger in the pool at the XS Night Swim party at the Encore in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, what followed was even more disturbing.
Earlier in the night, I was walking through the crowd and someone cupped my ass. I thought it best to just let it go, so I kept moving and went back to my friends. A little later, my friend and I got into a tube float in the pool and started floating around, smiling and waving at a bunch of happy party goers who were smiling and waving back.

As we passed close by one solo guy, he got close to me, reached under the water, and felt my chest and stomach. He then took his hands off my body, and while I was debating whether to take action or again, let it go, he reached under water again and groped my vagina. At this point, I was furious. I slipped under the tube to let myself free from it, keeping my eyes open for the second I was under water in order to keep track of him, and let loose on him with my fists, yelling, "YOU JUST GRABBED MY VAGINA, WHAT THE FUCK!" repeatedly.

Security had us separated in no time, and I explained what happened. I could see them questioning him too, but the female guards with me were sympathetic and led me away from him. In another part of the nightclub, a male guard came up to me and explained that they had to cuff me and take me behind the scenes for questioning. I was still in shock, and asked why, and the guard said, "IF that happened, then we will need to get both statements." I readily complied, and was led out through the halls of the crowded Encore in handcuffs.
The first room they took me to had someone in it, so they had to lead me back out in front of everyone in handcuffs. When I protested going back in front of everyone like that--it's pretty humiliating--the guard angrily said, "Well you don't want to be in there with HIM, do you?"

After about an hour of waiting in handcuffs in a jail-like cell with two guards, two male Las Vegas Police Officers showed up. I was so relieved--finally some justice would be served against the suspect. But the officers were acting very suspicious of me, saying there was no footage of the suspect doing what I said he did, and that a lifeguard they talked to said he saw me dancing with the suspect right before we got into it. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE. I was making eye contact with my BOYFRIEND across the pool most of the time I was in there with his SISTER. I didn't dance with ANYONE last night, and anyway, how would that refute my story of the guy groping my vagina if it were even the case? Also, I'm not surprised they didn't get footage--it happened UNDERWATER. I wondered out loud, if there was no footage of the act, does he just then get away with it? Is this just going to be allowed to happen at this pool party because guys know that no one can see what they are doing underwater?

After the LVPD went back and forth between the my room and the suspect's room a couple of times, and I made it clear that I wanted to press charges, the officers explained tiredly everything I would have to go through in order to pursue justice for the suspect's actions: "You'll have to fly back out here, and so will he, and testify in court." I explained that I was absolutely ready to do that and one of the officers said, "You could have easily said no to pressing charges." I was upset by what happened earlier and upset by their condescending and callous demeanor, so I interrupted him and said, "I don't care about making it easy for you. I want this guy to get what he deserves in terms of justice for his action." That really set the LVPD officer off.
The officer then shook his head at me and angrily said, in front of four people in the room, "WOW. What a PEACH." and then walked out. I was stunned. I asked to see a superior officer and after about 15 minutes, he came in. Another male, for a total of three male LVPD officers. I told him what just happened with his other officer and he couldn't see the issue with it. I said, "That was a really sexist statement from your officer. And I also literally just had my vagina groped earlier so it was super inappropriate." He argued vehemently: "That wasn't a sexist comment and you're being very confrontational." I said, "If I had been a man, he would not have just called me a 'peach.'" The LVPD officer didn't budge, "IT'S. NOT. A. SEXIST. COMMENT."
The Encore guards in the room then read off a quick trespassing clause, informed me I was banned for life from Wynn and Encore properties, and escorted me out of the building.

Though my faith has faltered against the system I will be using to pursue action against the guy that groped my vagina, I will still be pressing charges against him. What he did was not ok. It doesn't seem right that I was led away in cuffs, kept in cuffs for two hours while being detained, and treated like a criminal and an inferior sex by the LVPD officers and Encore staff.

I am humiliated, defeated, and disillusioned. But beyond that, I and sad and scared for the many more girls that will go through the same thing because guys can so easily get away with this type of thing, and no one wants to take accountability for preventing it or punishing those who do it.

She gets trumped in the pool so security handcuffs her and interrogates her.

Good find because there's nothing more truthful than peoples Facebook posts.
All of that just so you can say she was "Trumped".
When I used to attend Body English, I saw many an incident that would get one arrested if security was pro active. I can only imagine what it's like at Xcess.
I hope they have footage or this case is going nowhere.

So shocking that stuff happens at a night swim at XS!!!! Who knew?
Me thinks the lady doeth protest too much.

Her story sounds bogus, or she has left something out if indeed she was also handcuffed by LVPD. If nothing else, she was disturbing the peace with all that repetitive shouting about her "vagina" and "WTF", by her own words.

I'm female, I frequent Wynn/Encore, and kudos to them for banning her. What a nut job she must be.

The story was in the Las Vegas Review Journal and few others too. She isn't commenting on it anymore, and I suspect the parties are in settlement negotiations.
