Is this stealing?

Here is another question. If you take a cocktail glass (with a cocktail in it) from a Caesar's property and leave it at another Caesar's property, have you stolen the glass?

It has to do with winning or loosing.

If I win......the soaps and shampoo are still mine, but if I loose...... everything thats not bolted down in the casino and will fit in my carry on is game.

By the way, why would anyone tip a housekeeper $5 to steal $2 worth of soap & toilet paper?

Its a good thing there is no logo on the sunday glass that they serve the $1.99 shrimp cocktail in at the Golden Gate or those would come up missing way more often than they do.

I can say I have never even wanted to take extra from a buffet though.

#1, I'm not your cousin.

Case A. The only way to know for sure is to ask to see a much more expensive room. Any of the CONSUMABLES that are IDENTICAL in both rooms are part of the rooms. Any consumables that vary in quality between the two rooms were intended to be transferred to you.

Case B. Yes, that's wrong. But it may fall under some other law other than theft; it might only have a civil remedy. But it's more idiotic than it is wrong.

We are all cousins to Cousin Brucie
Removing ANY food from the buffet is considered stealing, per the buffet manager at Aliante.

Carrying a drink from one casino to another has always been okay in Vegas, as long as you're walking, not riding in a car. It was explained to me years ago that all the casinos get their glasses from the same vendor, so you can leave the empty in any casino.

The shampoos and soaps in your room are yours to do with as you wish. If a maid gives you additional shampoos and soaps, they are yours to do with as you wish. She is their authorized agent and she gave them to you.

Walking off with Bed Linins, Pillows, Chairs, Refrigerators or Televisions would be stealing...Towels are a grey area, but I go with stealing.
You mean people actually take TP home with them? WOW,haven't seen that since college days and i wasn't even the culprit then.It was one of my roommates, and of course we all used it. Got a double bonus, not only could we do our "business" with it,but it was so coarse, could also take crib notes on it. It beat rumpled up newspaper hands down.

Hell according to Jean Scott taking food out of a buffet in a zip lock bag is called Frugal dining.

I have taken soap and shampoo while I have stayed in Vegas. You just take it out of the bathroom and the maid will replace it. Then repeat the next day.

I figure that is what they get for charging a resort fee.
I guess I am a thief. I use to take my un-used bath toiletries home and give to the local homeless shelter.

I also am not a big eater and I do take cookies from the buffet. In fact even if I didn't eat at the Windsor buffet if they had white chocolate macadamia nut cookies I would beg my friends to steal them for me :-D,
I too, give all the bathroom soaps and lotions to the local homeless joint...been doing it for as long as I can remember.
Never had a problem at the airport with the lotions...guess they are use to it.
Also go for the occassional apple to munch on at the machines.

However that wasn't a problem the one time I went to the Circus Circus buffet.

It's their way of saying didn't they warn you about the buffet??
