Is trump turning into Jimmy Carter?

Europeans give President Carter a lot of the credit for breaking down the Iron Curtain.
His insistence on the priority of human rights is what started the whole Solidarity movement, along with Pope John Paul.
I think eventually he will get the credit for some of the good things he accomplished.
Right wingers like to blame him for things beyond his control. He truly inherited a nation in crisis. Anyone remember price and wage controls ? WIN buttons?
I guess hoops hasn't seen trumps budget. It's only been out for two days now.
Rather than add money for infrastructure, it actually cuts funding.

I seriously hope you are just kidding. If not, you are very delusional.

Even Clinton was pissed off at Carter.

I'm laughing at PJ's post. While the Iranians claim it was only coincidence that they were releasing the hostages while Reagan was being sworn in at the same moment, it was pretty obvious that they realized that Reagan was going to be no Carter. Carter was the worst president in modern times.

yeah - and the architects of 911 specifically cited their motivation as being the US military presence in Saudi Arabia following the first Gulf War. Neo-con foreign policy has consequences too....and their's is a lot more expensive.

Anyone tired of all the winning yet?

As trumps budget will be for Oct 2017 through 2018, and most construction isn't started in the winter, it looks like his promised rebuilding of our infrastructure is off the table
until spring of 2019, if ever.
Even obama said the last infrastructure bill was a dud. Makes for good campaign talk
Less than two months in office and Billy expects Trump to have changed everything.
For 50 years straight, we've been promised that if we don't spend more infrastructure money, then everything will fall down. Billy is falling for this story once again?

Billy Pelosi....
Trump was the one who said he would fund infrastructure in the first 100 days. Instead he is cutting money.
His new budget also calls for three billion dollars in 2018 and 2019 to be spent on a wall estimated to cost between 12 and 21 billion.
Just more outright lies ,told to get the gullible to vote for him.
Remember his promise to fix the shellfish conditions in the inner cities? I suppose none of you really care that he instead is cutting funds for them?
