Is your private information public?

This isn't Vegas related but every address that I've lived at in the past 15 years was listed on the website listed below, including my current address. Find out if your information is displayed by typing in your own name. If it is and you want it removed, copy and paste the URL on your webpage and click on the "private" link on the bottom of the webpage to remove your information. I had to do this to remove my current address. It is scary how much of my private information is public information.

spokeo.com
Now DonDiego is very reluctant to click on the link which surf87 provided so conveniently.
I clicked on it. There are other web pages besides that one with the same information about you.

If you're in the phone book, you're in databases...
o2bnVegas is also leery of invites to have action taken for my benefit via clicking a link.
Suspect it will invite more invasion, even if just spam.
Thanks anyway.
There really is no privacy if one ever logs into the Internet just once.

Privacy is overrated anyway.
A little off topic, but related - we just moved to a new city in December, 2010. I updated my address with El Cortez, but no other casinos in Las Vegas; yet, all of our casino mail is coming to our new address (not forwarded either). Anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks,
Lisa
My father died 30 years ago. His mail follows me wherever I move. There are databases that know where you are.

Sometimes the post office returns mail to the sender with the new address on it. That used to happen in my old job. That's how we got the recipient's new address.

That will work for two years but only if the person who moved provides the new address. The woman who lived in our house before us did not provide it, so we received her unpaid bills. I could have completed a form to block her mail but was curious what would come. This can go on and on. We receive mail occasionally for all the previous owners of our house, including one who moved in 1981.

What one posts on the web may sometimes be accessed by searching one's LVA or other handle. Some believe that a Harrah drudge trolls our website looking for potential suckers or malcontents. Loveman sucks!
