It Begins

"A Montana man said Wednesday that he was inspired by last week's U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage to apply for a marriage license so that he can legally wed his second wife.

"It's about marriage equality," Collier told The Associated Press Wednesday. "You can't have this without polygamy."

The Supreme Court's ruling on Friday made gay marriages legal nationwide. Chief Justice John Roberts said in his dissent that people in polygamous relationships could make the same legal argument that not having the opportunity to marry disrespects and subordinates them.

Collier, 46, said that dissent inspired him. He owns a refrigeration business in Billings and married Victoria, 40, in 2000. He and his second wife, Christine, had a religious wedding ceremony in 2007 but did not sign a marriage license to avoid bigamy charges, he said."

Jeez, DonDiego. You a duckophobe or something?

I think that all Anas Platyrhynchos need to gather under a cute multicolored banner, demonstrate in the streets of Washington DC, and demand equality in housing, jobs, insurance, and freedom from persecution during hunting season.
Why shouldn't 3 or more people get married? If they love each other that's what counts....not some prejudiced and narrow minded definition of marriage.

Not only will a state not knowingly issue a couple of extra marriage licenses, they'll throw you in jail if you happen to have an extra wife or husband. Bigamists are not just persecuted but prosecuted in this crazy society. I've always liked the Denobulan custom of each man taking 3 wives who each have 3 husbands. Group marriage is the new thing. I'm afraid Mrs. AlanLeroy would take some convincing.

Wow !
That is one attractive bird ! DonDiego begins to understand the attraction which a man might find in pursuing such a companion. It is something of an awakening. How strange DonDiego feels, . . .

DonDiego wonders what teechur might think of a new living arrangement. Of course the pictured mallard is obviously a male so, . . . Wait a minute ! That issue has already been decided.
