It only took 36 months, but Democrats finally turn over Benghazi ambassador emails

Did someone say "mishandled?"

This guy defected 4 years ago and has been living openly in England. No shock or secret that he then gave info to the the Brits and us
We now know that the military was ready to go in, but shrillery chose not to act

Judicial Watch today released a new Benghazi email from then-Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash to State Department leadership immediately offering “forces that could move to Benghazi” during the terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. In an email sent to top Department of State officials, at 7:19 p.m. ET, only hours after the attack had begun, Bash says, “we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.” The Obama administration redacted the details of the military forces available, oddly citing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) exemption that allows the withholding of “deliberative process” information.

Bash’s email seems to directly contradict testimony given by then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta before the Senate Armed Services Committee in February 2013. Defending the Obama administration’s lack of military response to the nearly six-hour-long attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Panetta claimed that “time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.”

The first assault occurred at the main compound at about 9:40 pm local time – 3:40 p.m. ET in Washington, DC. The second attack on a CIA annex 1.2 miles away began three hours later, at about 12 am local time the following morning – 6 p.m. ET.

[Judicial Watch obtained the e-mail records through a Freedom of Information Act request.]

Lets see - Hoops makes an uncited claim he's obviously too embaraased to say where he got his information from - and then DonDiego chimes in to back it up with a right wing propaganda source (which confirms why Hoops didn't want anyone to know where he got his information from). Gee, have we been here before?

It is an email from the Defense Dept to the State Dept. What is false about that?

No, its the narrative about the email from a right wing propaganda source which explains how their mouth-breathing subscribers should interpret it.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

Judicial Watch periodically manages to obtain information from the Government through filing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, because:
i. Otherwise the Government would not release the information, especially if such information contradicts the Government Party Line.
ii. News operations like, f'rinstance, The New York Times cannot be bothered to question the Administration about things the Administration would rather not reveal.

In this case, the information obtained through the FOIA request comprises official correspondence between the Department of Defense and the State Department pertaining to the response, or more accurately non-response, to attacks in Libya on American personnel and assets which resulted in 4 American deaths. There is an apparent difference between the version of the events as presented by then Secretary of State Clinton and the Department of Defense personnel; the reader is free to choose whom he believes.

As always. DonDiego requests that pjstroh correct any errors in the information which DonDiego presents within the source cited, . . . so that interested LVA Forum participants, if any, are not misled.
As everyone expected, we learn that Obama and Hillary were lying about Benghazi. Also expected, we learn that PJ doesn't care that they lied and that Hillary and Obama chose not to send military help. Now, we'll wait to learn if this decision not to send help was an effort minimize the effects on Obama's presidential run.

Here's my guess. Obama, Hillary and friends never expected to attack to be so successful and vicious. They believed that it they sent forces, needed or not, it would reflect badly on Obama after he claimed to have terrorism under control. Things then turned out terribly, after the role of the dice went terribly wrong.

What about my news source which has an equal amount of integrity? I request DonDiego correct any errors in my Weekly World News article that shows how aliens worship Oprah. Because such sources are the subject of intelligent discussions between intelligent people.
