Judicial Watch periodically manages to obtain information from the Government through filing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, because:
i. Otherwise the Government would not release the information, especially if such information contradicts the Government Party Line.
ii. News operations like, f'rinstance, The New York Times cannot be bothered to question the Administration about things the Administration would rather not reveal.
In this case, the information obtained through the FOIA request comprises official correspondence between the Department of Defense and the State Department pertaining to the response, or more accurately non-response, to attacks in Libya on American personnel and assets which resulted in 4 American deaths. There is an apparent difference between the version of the events as presented by then Secretary of State Clinton and the Department of Defense personnel; the reader is free to choose whom he believes.
As always. DonDiego requests that pjstroh correct any errors in the information which DonDiego presents within the source cited, . . . so that interested LVA Forum participants, if any, are not misled.
