It only took 36 months, but Democrats finally turn over Benghazi ambassador emails

Is PJ arguing that CNN and NBC won't report the same soon, or is it that PJ doesn't care?

As always. DonDiego requests that pjstroh correct any errors in the information which DonDiego presents within the source cited, . . . so that interested LVA Forum participants, if any, are not misled.

What about my news source which has an equal amount of integrity? I request DonDiego correct any errors in my Weekly World News article that shows how aliens worship Oprah. Because such sources are the subject of intelligent discussions between intelligent people.

So pj doesn't dispute the facts?
I'm going to try and take a break from the political threads here, I think. They've devolved into utter stupidity with people making shit up, posting conspiracies, or basing arguments on information they got from propaganda web sites ....and then demanding the other side prove them wrong. See the latest page of this thread as another in a long line of examples.

But let me play this one last time - for now.

Here's testimony from the actual Senate Armed Services Committee that addresses Hoops/DonDiego's fake moon landing conspiracy. Bash's email does not contradict Leon Panetta's testimony - its actually very consistent with it. Mouthbreather.com is hoping their subscribers are too uninformed to question their propaganda - and lucky for them they are right. Hoops and DonDiego are proof.

Leon Panttea - at the Senate Armed Services Committee
"Soon after the initial reports about the attack in Benghazi were received, General Dempsey and I met with President Obama, and he ordered all available DOD assets to respond to the attack in Libya and to protect U.S. personnel and interests in the region. It's important to remember that in addition to responding to the situation in Benghazi, we were also concerned about potential threats to U.S. personnel in Tunis, Tripoli, Cairo, Sana'a and elsewhere that could potentially require a military response.

In consultation with General Dempsey and AFRICOM commander General Ham, I directed several specific actions. First, we ordered a Marine fleet anti-terrorism secure team, a FAST team, stationed in Spain to prepare to deploy to Benghazi. A second FAST platoon was ordered to prepare to deploy to the embassy in Tripoli. A special operations force, which was training in Central Europe, was ordered to prepare to deploy to an intermediate staging base in Southern Europe, Sigonella, and a special operations force based in the United States was ordered to deploy to an intermediate staging base in Southern Europe as well at Sigonella. "

Some time ago Boiler provided a link to a 50 minute interview with the only living men who were involved involved within the Benghazi attacks. During the interview (link shown below again), they talked of being told to "stand down" and breaking orders. I never heard a peep from PJ on this interview.

“I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [apparent reference to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton],” reads the email, from Panetta’s chief of staff Jeremy Bash. “After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.”

The email was sent out at 7:19 p.m. ET on Sept. 11, 2012, in the early stages of the eight-hour siege

Um, it's an email, in black and white. I don't give a crap what source it comes from (unless of course they changed the actual wording it it directly contradicts other testimony). That you only want to attack the source rather than talk about the actual mail just goes to show you have absolutely no interest in beleiveing anything other the the current Administration, no matter what they say. Rather sad really.

We seem to have some inconsistencies......which will never be rectified.....but should have been brought to light when Hillary testified before Congress. Since this investigation is on-going, maybe they need to call Panetta and Bash to testify.

Golly gee whiz, Jatki. I provided the testimony from Leon Panetta that confirms he did the very thing Bash's email suggested.

Forces were prepared as Bash describes in his email. The actual testimony at the Senate Armed services committee confirms those forces were either sent and not arrived in time...or determined to not be able to arrive in time.

I understand that you/DonDiego/Hoops/Boiler/Jphelan have a hard time understanding how to weed out the truth between official hearings vs propaganda pieces from right-Wing-Retard.com....and thats why I've stated I'm taking a break. I cant have an intelligent discussion with such people. I think its going to be easier to just point and laugh. I'm doing it at your last post right now.

Nope, we will learn that we had time to save people, but Obama didn't want the appearance of terrorism and, BECAUSE OF THIS, decided not to send help. Now that we FINALLY have this email, it's simple to learn how long it would take for the counter attack to happen.

After years of obstruction by Democrats, it's time for the same Democrats to again complain that this is old news.

Panetta said they didn't have time to bring in the military. This email said the military was ready to go & was waiting for approval, which never came.

Big difference.
