OMG. You have to be kidding. Dan Gilbert's Rock Gaming has just announced the name change of all of their casinos to JACK

"According to JACK Entertainment, JACK is an attitude and a way of thinking."

[For the record, teechur and DonDiego spent a weekend in the Greektown Hotel/Casino a few years ago; it was a more enjoyable stay than poor old DonDiego had expected. The downtown people mover added to the pleasant experience. And the steak dinner and beer which DonDiego ingested at the nearby Detroit Beer Company was excellent.]

Somebody, somewhere got paid real money for coming up with that stupid name.

We have 93.1 Jack FM in Los Angeles. They give the reminder that they play what they feel like playing, so it will go from classic rock to mushy songs and everything in between.

We had jack radio in NYC twice. They tried it on a former oldies station and the people hated it. They bought it back a year or so later on a less popular station and it didn't work out. There is a reason why stations play to a narrow audience. Jack doesn't get it.

DonDiego you are far more braver than some Michiganders are. The name Jack is becoming popular name around here for new food and business establishments. Sort of like Genesis or Gynesis or banks credit union bars and other businesses.

DonDiego likes to think of himself as "the shit". Of course he is braver than some Michiganders.
