Jacks or Better Double or Nothing Video Poker

Anybidt have a strategy for this play?
Yep ! Hard enough to win once. Double up is just a "sucker' bet.
double up seems to have zero house advantage. most times I will double up with just a pair. my wife got brave and doubled up 4oak once.

I'm out sure we're talking the same game.

If it doesn't pay slot club points, it's nothing I would consider doing.

Excellent point. I don't do this myself, but I have seen others do it and the double up bet on all the games I have seen does NOT add any points.
Is that the feature on VP where you win a hand....and then you opt to play one hand of "WAR" with the computer where you are each given one card - the higher of which determins your double or nothing ?

If the rules for a tie are a wash then it would seem to be a good bet....very much like the ODDS bet in craps, no? There is really no house edge in that case. I would think if the tie goes to the house then there would be no sense in playing it.
a tie is a tie.

I never heard it described like that, but yeah, it's basically a single hand of the War card game. And since it doesn't include slot points, I ask: War - what is it good for?

I'm in total agreement with everyone. A serious player should not waste their time on it. If a casual player enjoys it from time to time then go for it and have fun.
