Just booked my Vegas trip!!!!!

Going on Sptember 28th and coming back October 1st. I found Mandalay Bay 550 room for $60 a night first two nights and Friday for $96!! I been watching the price drop on those rooms for a while. Scored this time!! I have never stayed there, but have always wanted too. I love this site!!!! I'm all giddy now!!

This is the third trip this year!! I'll be driving up from San Diego and will give a full report when I return, with pics!
Congrats!!!! We are staying at the Mandalay Bay also for the first time on our next trip. Can't wait to see what you think of it. Did you get that 40% off deal from this site for your room.
Way to go Franco! I'll be at the Riviera 9/25 -10/5, perhaps our paths shall cross. Good luck !

I will be there 9/25-9/29. Good luck to both of you!

Good for you! Have a great time.
MB is a beautiful property. Good rates indeed.

No, I did the "Spring Escape" special. The days we were happening to go were the cheapest! All the other times I been watching for a few months, those dates were $90 then dropped to $88 and so on. Now at $60. I didn't want to wait any longer, afraid they would go up the closer I got to our trip date.

Wow! Lot's of people going the same days we are! Maybe I'll run in to one or two or three you lol.
I plan to hit the wax museum this time, as well as the car exhibit at IP. My girlfriend wants to go on the rollercoaster in NYNY, but I don't do rollercoasters. Not going to Vegas to get sick on one of those. I can do that locally if I wanted to.

I was thinking of going to Hoover Dam this time. Never been there. I am thinking the temps are going to be too hot for this though. Reservations at "THE Mix" in THE Hotel have been set since May. That is another thing I do is have dinner there at sunset. At least I'll be next door and won't have to drive there.

Probably will go to the shark reef inside MB, never been there either. Any other attractions I should look into? Not doing any shows this time. We felt we had to keep appointments on our last trip. I like just going there and feeling free to spend my time wherever, whenever.
Just a couple of ideas. Since you will be at NYNY yoou can go across to MGM and check out the lion habitat then go across the casino floor and try annd will that 2.3 million on the lions share progressive. Then you can pop on over to the world of coke next door and try out their "coke from aroundd the world" which is a 8 cup sampler of coke products from japan, italy, mexico, etc. The fun part about that is some taste really bad and after tasting it you can look at your other half and say "ugh! Try this!"

Afterwards you can take Tropicana down to the pinball hall of fame at 1610 E Tropicana. This is something that is kind of fun if you remeber the arcades of the 80's and it's free admission and if you want to play the games you can. Also, if you have never been to the Peppermill next to the riviera then stop by either for just a drink in the bar or for a meal.

Peppermill? I'll have to try that place. I have never been inside the Riviera. I am also going to hit some old casinos, as the oldest casino I been in was the Strat I think.I'll have to hit the Trop, Riviera and Flamingo this time.

The Peppermill is an old school vegas haunt. A few scenes from casino were filmed in there. If you go and there is a wait or a line then put your name in for a table then go into the fireside lounge. This place has been voted best coffee shop in best of las vegas for years.

The Riviera is old school also but from whatx I have heard they are in the process of renovating it. This part of town can be depressing as most of the old hotels have been demolished and no work is being done. The only good part of it is with no hotels the traffic on this part of LV Blvd runs smoothly.
I havent been to the Riveria in ages but I do visit the Strat every trip. I usually seem to do okay there. I have not been in the Strat since February but I heard that they have been remodeling the casino.

Just hope that they did not take out my favorite machines back by the buffet!

Last few trip I have done so good downtown I havent strayed to far from there except to go to Sam's Town and the Gold Coast and the Orleans.

Hope you guys got a good deal on airfare.
