I just hit a club two card Royal flush at Caribsports.com. And it couldn't have come at a better time. I've really been cash poor the last three weeks since my brokerage firm sent me a $10,000 margin call.
I have to go to Florida to get rid of my mother's condo that has been vacant for 3 years. Because of a leak that came from upstairs, it flooded the whole living room, bedroom and TV room area and the carpet needs to be replaced. Now, about a week ago, the woman across the hall who wants to buy the unit went in to inspect it with the person that I left a set of keys with. Turns out, the main sewer line backed up through the kitchen sink, and there's another mess to clean up. This time, the HOA is going to have to pay for the problem since no one was occupying the condo and there was no water running anywhere in the condo. The woman across the hall is really interested in buying the unit, but she wants to lowball me unless the place is fixed up. So I'll have to spend a few thousand fixing it up rather than sell the unit for peanuts. At the price she is offering, I'd take a loss after all the money I spent for the upkeep of the condo for three years.
So this money came at exactly the right time. I've been building up money in my two sports book accounts over the last two weeks from my sports betting and hitting one jackpot after another in my slot play. But this Royal put me way over the top, and now I can make my reservations to go to Florida next week. YAHOO!!
