Justice Ginsberg Speaks

You shortened my post to eliminate the meaning of what I conveyed. That the world is full of partisanship, particularly on the ghost town of the LVA Free for All which has run so many people off and reduced the visits of many others. Point well made.

This thread was akin to your Mike Tolbert rushes for 18 yards thread.

Some things never change. Every election year liberals and conservatives threaten to leave the country if the election doesn't go their way.
Poor old DonDiego's jes' gonna stay on his ridge in Appalachia no matter who wins/loses.

If'n The Hillary wins he supposes he may have to hunker down a mite more when the subsequent misbehaviors and riotous shenanigans by her inevitably disappointed supporters commences, . . . as it dawns on 'em that there really ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

And on the bright side The Clinton Foundation will do surprisingly well. Not the readers' or DonDiego's bright side, . . . but the Clintons'.

Comments like these are unprecedented by a sitting supreme court justice and shows why it is so important someone like Hillary is NOT elected. We cannot afford another Ginsberg!

Mike who ? ? ?

You and I went through this exact topic about a year ago. At that time, I posted the actual audio in context from his show, and you never would respond. Please refer to YouTube as it's an easy search for all of the audio. Make sure that you don't cherry pick, as you tend to do

Heh. So now quoting Rush Limbaugh word-for-word is "spinning." Okay.

I'm really glad she emerged from her stupor long enough to speak.
Ginsberg is likely one of the justices Hillary will be replacing in the next term with the blessing of the Democrat-majority Senate.

Given Republican obstruction over Scalia's replacement you can bet Hillary is going to make a big statement with his replacement as well as Ginsbergs. Expect two very young, liberal justices that will sit on the court for 3 decades or more. Well played, birthers.
The good news for my conservative friends is that if Hillary wins they don't have to leave the country. They can move to Kansas and live in conservative utopia. They may not be able to drive on the roads or send their kids to school there, but by golly they can live the conservative dream.
An incredible blow to the high Court.

Impartiality, we don't need no stinkin impartiality.

As someone who actually knows Justice Ginsburg I can tell you that she is still as sharp as a tack.
She is one of the smarter people I have ever met. She's mean too, makes her clerks cry on a regular basis.

I disagree with just about every opinion she has on the constitution. She says herself that if congress won't amend the constitution she will bend it to her will.
But at the same time I have great respect for her as an intellectual.
