I would have thought it was very obvious. He is on here advocating for the poor, but doesn't raise a finger or do a thing about contributing money and volunteering with charities. I find volunteer work to be very fulfilling. It's just like the pleasure of gift giving on a birthday or Christmas.
Should I be doing volunteer work for the middle class?
Yet another truly disingenuous answer from you and you never answered my point.
On behalf of most middle class citizens, I don't feel like I have been slighted by the top 1% at all. When they buy a multi-million dollar mansion, they pay much more in property taxes than me. By the way, they are allowed to only deduct mortgage interest on a loan of 1.1 million or less, so there is another point you failed to address. I also realize when they buy a six figure car, or extravagant furniture that they are also paying more sales tax than me. They can afford to buy more cars and more furniture than me, but per capita, they are paying more in taxes.

I'm sorry you were raised in a fashion to blame people who worked hard their whole lives, and took risks, so that you can blame your position in life on them. Your statistic is totally misleading. If you take per capita, the rich pay far more in property and sales taxes. They've always paid much more in income taxes.
