I swear this is true. My brother used to always eat hot dogs and put ketchup on them. My dad would tease him about it, but my brother didn't change. They rented this particular Dirty Harry movie. When Harry made that quote, my dad almost fell off the couch. My brother never ate hot dogs with ketchup on them again.

I used to put ketchup on a well grilled hot dog, but outgrew it. Now it has to be brown spicy mustard.

I used to hate pickles and mustard when growing up. I grew to love mustard, but still don't like pickles. That being said, mustard and relish on an occasional hot dog tastes great. I hardly ever eat hot dogs, but I also like them with nothing on them, in other words just the hot dog and the bun. My dad loves sauerkraut on his dogs. I don't really care for it.

I rarely eat hot dogs outside of NY. If its not a Nathans, Sabrett of Hebre National, I find them to be nasty. spicy mustard and a very occasional onions in some sort of orange sauce. I like the onions and sauce more on the bigger spicy sausages you can get off of carts- the famous dirty water dogs. I've never seen them outside of NYC and South Beach.

In New York City, the natural-casing all-beef hot dogs served at Katz's Delicatessen, Gray's Papaya, Papaya King, Papaya Dog and any Sabrett cart are all made by Sabrett's parent company, Marathon Enterprises, Inc. of East Rutherford, New Jersey (Levine 2005). Nathan's hot dogs, which are all-beef and come in both natural-casing and skinless, were also made by Marathon until several years ago (Levine 2005). Local kosher brands—which are not permitted natural casings—include Hebrew National, Empire National (Levine 2005). The usual condiments are mustard and sauerkraut, with optional sweet onions in a tomato based sauce invented by Alan Geisler, usually made by Sabrett. Hot dogs are available on street corners as well as at delicatessens. New York street vendors generally store their unsold dogs in warm-water baths, giving rise to the semi-affectionate moniker "dirty water dog."
They have a Nathans at the food court at Luxor. I've got to be honest with you, I didn't think that much of them. The Mandalay Bay used to set up a hot dog cart just outside of their sports book on football weekends and other big event days. They served the Vienna beef dogs. They were very superior to Nathans. Hot dogs from Hebrew or a top butcher are fine. I don't think I ever want to know what goes into many of the cheap hot dogs.
As is common, Billy was acting like an unusually immature 7th grader, attacking a man's pizza eating techniques. Now he's telling us that this post about Kasich was a joke.

It's definitely an acquired taste for us. I used to get mad when I'd forget to tell them no mustard, but I've learned to let the little things go.

The Nathan's in Vegas serve a different dog than the ones in NY. I guess they are trying to appeal to the wider range of tourist. Plus they cost about $5 each, as opposed to a typical dirty dog costing a buck.
