Kasich eats pizza with a fork.

Billy, please clarify. Are you for or against freeloaders, and is the a geographic status of the freeloaders an issue?

Forkie should tread lightly when speaking about the Clinton, Sanders, and Obama freeloading voters.

As I pointed out, if one visits a NY steakhouse, you won't find New York beef. Besides, NYC doesn't respect the balance of the state, since these folks are country bumpkins...
Maybe, I don't know. But could it be because New York City SUPPORTS the freeloaders in the rest of the state. Outside of NYC and the downstate suburbs, the rest of New York State residents receive about 50% more in government services than they pay in taxes.

And who is paying for the extra services the non-NYC counties receive? It's the residents of New York City. At least the bumpkins could show some gratitude.

I would point out that outside of the Metropolitan area, the rest of the state is overwhelmingly Republilican, but he knows that.I'd also point out that nationwide, Republican voting states are the ones sucking on the public teat, but boils doesn't deal in facts. He starts with moronic positions and then digs in.

If The guy pulling in $1.2 million per year is paying a significantly lower state and local tax rate than the poor and middle class. Of course that isn't fair.

But the top 1% do enjoy their free shit, don't they?

Obviously. Is there anyone here stupid enough not to know that sales tax is a state tax? I hope not.

But in most states the top 1% pay a state and local tax rate that is much lower the middle class. Residents of red state counties in states like New York and Washington pay a lot less in taxes than they receive in state benefits.

And who pays for it? The poor and middle class in urban areas and in blue states.

Turns out the top 1% and Republicans like their free shit. And they get it too, don't they?

In most states the top 1% pay a state and local tax rate much lower than the middle class? Bullshit.

Your little post got blown to hell using your own link.
In Indiana, a guy earning $1,000,000 per year, yet pays more than 20 times the taxes vs the guy who earns $50,000 per year. And Forkie believes that 20 times isn't a "fair share"? How silly.

It's not a static pie. A productive pie grows, producing more money for all. If that wasn't the case, all countries would be equally wealthy.

No, its true. The wealthier you are, the less percentage of your income is paid in taxes. I'll give you an example. My neighbor and I live in identical houses, pay identical property tax bills , we each pay the same sales tax on the identical car model, and at the end of the year end up paying the same in sales tax for our various purchases.
For all practical purposes we have an identical tax bill-$25,000. He is a lawyer making $500,000 a year. I'm only pulling in $150,000 a year. Even though we paid the same amount in taxes, he is paying a much lower percentage of his income in taxes than I am.
The poorer you are, the higher percentage of your money goes towards taxes- sales tax, property tax, ect, ect.
Its the main reason a flat tax on purchases is unfair. The richer you are, the lower percent of your income goes towards purchases.
Billy is not lucky enough to live in the great state of Indiana, and he doesn't understand our tax code.

How is your tax code different? Do rich people pay higher sales tax per dollar? Is your property tax based on income or property value?
If two people go to buy the same $25,000 car, does the millionaire pay more sales tax on it than the cop? If you and your neighbor own identical pieces of property assessed for the same amount, does it matter if he makes half of what you do as far as property tax goes?
In Indiana, all citizens pay the same percentage of taxes on all income, regardless of how rich they are.

Unless people buy merchandise in the same percentage of their income as someone who is poor, they will never pay a larger percentage. A house for a nonwealthy person is their most expensive asset they own, while for someone who is rich, it generally is just a small percentage of their overall estate. Forkie gave us his chart showing that the rich still pay the most income tax.
Apparently in my state, the guy earning $1,000,000 is paying 20 times his "fair share". Boiler considers a fair share as what one consumes. Billy considers a "fair share" is what someone else pays.
