Kenny Kerr RIP

I just read that Kenny Kerr past away last Sunday at the age of 60. I remember seeing

him for the first time in the spring of 1982. He was a great female impersonator & had a great

Show. I went to see him many times when I was in Vegas up until the early 2000's, then I never saw

him listed after that.

Diane
They had a show at the Plaza for many years. It was called Boylesque or something like that, can't remember the exact name.
Yes, but first he was at the Silver Slipper until it was torn down when they expanded the Frontier. Later he was at the Sahara, I believe.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Kerr

And now I heard that Jack Palance has died also! What a shame. Just saw him early in the AM this past weekend doing "City Slickers". That was a great movie.

I thought Jack Palance had already passed so I looked it up and he died on November 10th of 2006.
Jack would have celebrated his 94th birthday this past February 18th.
A belated R.I.P. Jack and I agree Bags, he was great in "City Slickers".

That's funny....one site must have bumped his reported death. Now I'll have to go back and see the date.
Sorry to hear of his passing, I never heard a bad thing about him, and he must've been entertaining.

Such a weird thing to be good at, pretending to be what more than half the population does just by surviving childbirth. "Look at me! I'm a man who does a very good job of pretending to be a very catty lady! Such an incredible entertainment premise!"

Did there use to be entertainers who impersonated balding, web-toed, extra-nippled southpaws? THAT I'd want to see!

* Edited to note regrets at Kerr's passing. (h/t forkushV)

They come in three's mush. Lucille Ball, Jack Palance, and now Kenny Kerr.
