kids say the dangest things

My niece was in town with her 2 daughters this past weekend. The youngest (Addison) being a first grader.

Last Thursday the teacher stated "since we have our work done for today. We have a few minutes remaining, anyone of you can ask me a question about anything. I will do my best to answer.

One of Addison's female classmates says "my mommy and daddy argue about daddy cheating on mommy" what does that mean. Yikes!
Before the teacher can back away from that question Addison states "I think that means you will have a new daddy"! The teacher told Adam when he went to pick up Addy from school what she had said. Teacher stated that was a better answer than the one I was thinking.

Classic, pure classic. I imagine the teacher will have no more "ask me anything periods" for the kids.
That is just asking for trouble.
That is just What I thought.
