Kitchen remodel

I was going through my photobucket and it occrrued to me I never posted any finished pics, actually it's 99.8% finished an issue came up right at the end haven't got to it yet. Here's a few of the old, I can't seem to find what I want and the LVA archive is gone so you'll get the idea.

If you look check out the backsplash from old and new you can see what a phenomonal tile my neighbor is. Very cool to have friends and didn't have to pay him with any actual money

Wrapping with beadboard turned out pretty well I think.

Makes the appliances look pretty ugly now, but WTHey, it's still an upgrade.

and the granite is a phenomanal looking update

I am NOT a big fan of painting kit. cabinets but M suggested it and it seemed like a perfect project to get back busy doing what I used to do so here it is. We're pretty happy with it and it is an update to the house so all is cool.

Oh I absolutely had you in mind when I was finished and there was nothing on the countertops and how neat and claen it looked. Then we thought "OK, what's the bare minimum of stuff to put back?" , so the toaster we use almost every day, my cutting bds., oh yea, gotta have those and it kinda spiraled, but in all fairness they are usually tidier than these pics, I was just a little lazy and didn't straighten up for the pics.

Rick, the candy jar didn't make the cut, it'll prob find its way back up there sometime.

Looks good, John.
Very nice, Jatki. My kitchen is on my to do list. I didn't think I liked granite but your pictures make me want to reconsider.
jatki99: invite us over for a homecooked meal, well help you do the dishes.
Absolutely if you're ever up Va. way. I'm told I'm a pretty decent cook at least I haven't poisoned anyone yet. steaks, italian and even ethoipian, I can cook a variety of things, my ages tenderloin steak hoagies are a knockout for sure. And you are welcome to do the dishes afterward, thats one thing I really don't care to do

JOHN

BTW, This extends to others, if ever Va. way, PM me.
