The Kitchen Sink appears to be a POL-free zone!!

(To avoid a lengthy and cumbersome requote ...)

AlanLeroy,

My implication was simply that LVA is a business. The customer (even the paying customer) doesn't get to make the rules. That's all. (I'm often unaware of my lack of clarity until after the fact.)

I agree that is the business the problem is the FTC rules no longer allow you to shape user generated content into a sales funnel, and use people as sales props. Prehaps it is just best to shut it down altogether if it is too much of a burden to follow the rules regarding user generated content.

Everything else is just overhead.

You and I don't seem to be participating in the same discussion, but I think I understand your point. Anyway, I've made mine, and since I have no burning desire to change anyone's mind about anything, I'm going to go away now and do something else.

Ok. I guess it was too obvious to be obvious.
I see that Ody has been referenced a couple of times in this thread. A little birdie told me that Ody is no longer with Huntington Press

Had not heard that Karen, so who the hell do we blame now for this "snail pace like site"???
Who knows maybe Ken runs the show now, and he was high fiving himself with this thread.

That's depressing. He didn't even say 'Bye'. Maybe they can get David Matthews back.

This would not surprise poor old DonDiego. The new-guy has been much quicker on the delete-button.

(n.b.DonDiego does not mean to imply the sex of the new guy by employing the word "guy". The new guy may well be a new gal. Tradition suggests the male-gender is assumed until demonstrated to be in error. Use of the words "guy" and "gal" are not intended to be demeaning to any person real or imaginary who might be of a minority sexual-persuasion, or ambidextrous, or celebate, or into beastiality, . . . although DonDiego might be put off by one or more of the aforementioned activities, . . . or even some activities performed by normal folks, . . . not that anyone in the above categories isn't normal.)
