Klondike on Sunset

According to the latest LVA issue they have reopened this place. Its been closed for a few years now. They used to have 10 cent roulette and a dirt cheap diner on site.....sounds like the new place is a little classier.

Anyone check it out yet? I'll give it a whirl in a few weeks. That neighborhood has lots of fun low-roller joints.

It sounds fun or a place to test a system. The only question is if it is in a safe neighborhood?
My cousin Eddie says they still have great games. Pick-a-Number, Rock Paper Scissors, etc.
Have fun PJ!!

Its right next door to the Skyline Casino on Boulder Highway. I'm not a local so I cant truly comment on neighborhood crime statistics - but I don't think its bad there. El DOrado, Rainbow Club, and Emerald Island are just a few blocks away too....so its that neighborhood.

From everything I've read, they are slots-only. No table games.
It's a good distance from the three casinos on Water St. Several miles, I'd guess. The area is pretty industrial, not much residential and what there is isn't anything to write about.
I pass it but have not stopped in yet.

That was the Klondike on LVBS, across the street from Luxor/Mandalay Bay. They did have 10 cent roulette and other cheap games until they closed in 2006. The Klondike Sunset opened in 1999, and they had table games for a while. They closed in 2014, and just recently reopened.

I didn't know that was the Klondike.

Cousin Eddie:

Coin Toss (Heads or Tails)

War

Rock Scissors Paper

Pick a Number (1 to 10)

Guess which hand

Oh I know the Klondike Sunset is not the same as the Klondike that was on the south end of the Strip, but I think(?)they were sister properties so I was hoping they would have unique games too. Cousin Eddie confirmed it. lol

Seems on my only visit to the Klondike was filthy and smelled like an ash tray. Old Vegas just like one wants to remember
