Thanks Road Trip for your perspective. I use to take my laptop with me when I traveled. I now take my tablet and love it but it is limited for typing, you can't down load certain programs etc.. I read, play games , do e mail and facebook on my tablet. I also have the Samsung Droid S4 that I also have come to love and would not be without when traveling but I find it to small to be useful surfing or banking or even some e mails.. My laptop is getting the blue screen of death so it is just a matter of when is it going to crap out on me. I am still researching but I hope the hybrid will work.

When I travel , I am usually gone for several weeks and I like to keep logs/records so that is also a factor in deciding. My friends does audio books but I just can't concentrate enough to do that.
