Las Vegas Buffets Had Better Watch Out

It looks like recreational weed might be legal in Las Vegas in a couple of years. Those buffets had better get ready.

Wow.

Expect the legal system will be swamped for the next few years, and longer, as those in favor fight massive legal battles with those opposed.

Should be interesting to see which side of this impending battle the casino's land on.

I'd be interested to see where the casino's land on the issue. Colorado has strict laws about who can sell it. If the casino's aren't allowed to sell it then they would have to consider the double edged sword of revenue: less money spent at the casinos....but more people want to visit Vegas for the weed.

Might be the perfect cure to bring back Atlantic City.
Two comments on this.

I believe Nevada used to have some of the strictest laws on marijuana, where what might be a misdemeanor or ticket in another state, would be a felony in Nevada. It is surprising with all of the other adult indulgences that Nevada took so long.

While I'm not anti-pot, please don't allow it to be smoked at the gaming tables.

I would prefer pot smoke versus cigarette smoke in the casinos.

Ahh, . . . a triple-edged sword, . . . more gamblers gambling with doobie induced intemperance.

Ah, DonDiego using terms like "Doobie" it makes me wonder what a young DonDiego might have been up to in his youth. Of course I might have to check out that mater patch, wink wink.

Just for that I am going to crank up China Grove and Long Train Runnin

IF this does, in fact, become a reality, there would be a lot of "high rollers" at the poker tables. That, alone, would probably be reason enough for me to plan a trip.

Can anybody imagine how incredibly slow a blackjack game would be with a full table of stoners? Not that I have any experience like that.......
