Las Vegas Caesars Properties Lower VP Schedules AGAIN!!

Just returned from Vegas and was while there, over night, the video poker schedules were lowered at all the machines I checked at Planet Hollywood, Caesars, Paris, and Ballys. I'll assume the others in Las Vegas are as well but will have to wait to hear from others. Here's what I found:

Bonus Poker: now 6/5
Jacks or Better: now 7/5
Double Double Bonus: 8/5
Double Bonus: 8/5/4

CET has now made already poor schedules even worse.

I feel it's just a matter of time they will follow suit with the Venetian and remove all video poker completely.

Its a further sign the strip is attracting more non-gaming customers. I'm convinced most STRIP vacationers just dont have a clue or care about the VP schedules.
Very well said,PJ.

The strip tourists have no clue what to play or even HOW to play. They are just tourists and sheep for the slaughter.

Savvy VP players don't play on the strip. Those pay tables are YUKKKKK!
The BJ ain't that great,either.

Thanks for the post,sionow.
Did you buy a guitar,yet?

What denominations were you looking at, Sionow? I agree that all the 25c and 50c video poker has been downgraded, but I did find some $1 and higher 98%+.
DAMN, VPfree has only Paris and Planet Hollywood left at 7-5 bonus for 25 cents, probably a matter of time they will chnge to 6-5 bonus, this just sucks!!!!

It probably has more to do with their bankruptcy than anything. Some of their creditors are still trying to push them into involuntary status and an aggressive investigator has been appointed by the judge to look at insider dealing. Downgrading the paytables is a short term solution to create a better theoretical cash flow. I am sure they are doing the same with slot machines.
It has become the American way, spend spend spend, then blame everything else but the spending. Tighten all the machines and you will lose customers. Ballys builds 120 new stores(spendspendspend) hmmmmmm if people shop there, they are less apt to shop at all their other stores. Simple simple simple, damn the mob was waaaaaaay more smart than these yo- yos.

Linq also has 7-5 bonus...so far.
Can't imagine an incentive to play DB over DDB there, although both options are horrible.
One more reason to play the craps tables.
