Las Vegas Club Sale

I thought I would get one last chance to play there on my next visit in October. I guess it wasn't in the cards. I'll miss the Las Vegas Club more than anything, because I use to use it as a short cut from Fremont to the California and on to Main Street Station. I always used it when it was freaking hot or frigid outside. I guess I'll have to use the Binion's exit as my short cut now.
Actually, that's the only reason I step in there: One my way to the MSS,through the California and over the sky bridge.
Played BJ and the dancers were good, but the friggen' music was too loud.
I had to lip-read my buddy next to me at the tables. The GG was the same way.

Yeah, let the place go to hell.

Maybe the GG can make another sky bridge, if they want to buy it.Avoid the buskers and the heat/cold.
The California could buy it,too. OOPS. The owners of The Plaza owns it now.

Quote: In May 2015, the Las Vegas Club announced its intent to open a 13,810-square-foot pharmacy on the eastern side of its casino.[8] This is now unlikely, in light of the August 14, 2015 announcement of the casino's sale to Derek and Greg Stevens, owners of the nearby D and Golden Gate casinos, who plan to close and renovate it.[9]
Really?
Good riddance to this dump. Whatever the Stevens brothers do there will be an improvement over the worthless place it had become.
I would love to see the return of single deck BJ with only one unseen burn card.

So let's do some brainstorming for them. What might work for the casino floor space? AlanLeroy already has the hotel part taken care of.

It's a fairly good sized footprint. So, were going to need to pull in a good number of people to make it profitable. How do we get the crowds in way down at the end of Fremont street?

What kind of theme should it have? Vintage, to match downtown? Sports themed, like they tried to have going? (Does the sports memorabilia go with the building?)

My suggestion for casino operations would be on quality games to bring in the real gamblers. There doesn't seem to be many places left with good rules for the players like in years past.
Things like 100x odds on craps. 3 to 2 on BJ with double down and resplitting after splitting aces. Excellent pay tables on video poker.
Things like that. Any other suggestions? What would you want to see there?

I'd go with Star Trek Casino....Or a Space theme if they can't get the rights to use some of the Star Trek Theme. Rebuild Quarks Restaurant and Bar. Borg Dealers. Orion Slave Girls for Cocktail Waitresses. Sex Robots in the back. Replicators for snacks. Transporter like elevators. Dabo wheel. Memorabilia shop. Romulan Ale and Klingon Blood wine comped.

Oh....and a stasis room where you can have your unruly kid suspended from the ceiling in 2 hour stints....Ok...Sorry. No kids.

You can still have great games and bring in the gamblers though. Best of Both Worlds.
im sure someone has fond memories of that dump, but not I. I will not miss it. I hope the new owners will think beyond extremely loud music like they have at the D and Golden Gate. overall I like what they have done with those 2 properties except for the deafening music. how about lets get back to basics? just give us a good gamble, low minimums, good comps, free rooms, or at least decent food / drink specials if we do have to pay. as far as location, it seems like it could be a gold mine. I just returned from vegas, and used my MRB coupon for the LVC on the last day the table games were open. (and lost)
