Laughlin day trip

Looking for reccomendation as who to use for a day trip to laughlin from Vegas.
Sorry if this comes out sarcastic,it's not meant to be,but why not rent a car and drive yourself? That way you are not at the mercy of the tour company and you can come back when you choose.
The last time I did this I used Sightseeing Tours.
Found there ad in my hotel room magazine, they may be online?
Was charged $5.00 which included a free lunch buffet in Laughlin.
Very affordible and easy, you can't rent a car for $5.00 spend $20.00
on gas to get to the same destination. You should have plenty of
time to see what Laughlin has to offer during your bus tour.
Not to sound sarcastic but golly gee whiz why did I not think about renting a car. Well I think second poster answered that one. Besides kind of like setting back and letting someone else worry about the driving. Thanks anyway for the suggestion. Now back to final planning for our full month March getaway.

When I go to Vegas I always rent a car for a day or two and drive to Laughlin. I'd rather spend a few more dollars and not have to stick to someone elses schedule.
We took a bus tour last August that left from the Flamingo. Can't think of the name. Bus driver was very informative on the way there. We went in August and it was hotter than Hades in Laughlin.

We went bercause of the Great Race that CET was promoting, o it was worth it.

This was my point exactly.
However you go, take the day and go there. There are pros and cons to each method of transportation. If you don't care about a schedule and having to be somewhere at a certain time, then by all means take the bus. The buses run on a certain schedule and you will go where they have it already set up with the casinos.

If you have the day and are a little curious, take the car and go to Oatman, check out Bullhead City, and the casinos on the Laughlin side. Oatman is worth the ride, it is a quaint (dumpy) little town with the wild burros roaming freely. I love going there and if you really want an adventure take Route 66 toward Kingman and go back to Vegas that way over the new bridge at the Hoover Dam.
We always rent a car when we go to Las Vegas. We spend several days there and then get in the car and drive the nice 90 mile ride south to Laughlin. It is more laid back than Las Vegas...has 7 or so casinos all along the Colorado River. You can actually walk from casino to casino along the river walk. So nice!!

One nice day is to take a ride to Oatman AZ. You'lll find lots of brochures in Laughlin about how to get there. Very quaint...yes, dirty but a cool place to spend a few hours. Have donkeys roaming the dirt streets. Looks like the real Old West.

You can stop at the Indian casino near Laughlin called the AVI. Very nice place too.

Laughlin is very relaxing and nice to be away from the glitz of Las Vegas.

THEN we go back to LV for a few days before boarding the plane. Nice for the difference in experience!!

Yes, rent a car - be sure to find best prices - coupons from wholesale clubs, ACG, etc. We rented a mid-size car in January for 9 days and it was $121.00 for everything!!!! Can't beat that. In that way, we can come and go as we want and not depend on taxi's ($$$) buses (the wait can be horrible). And we can go where and when we want.

Try it..you'll like it!!
We love Laughlin - Aquarius Resort is our favourite and they have 9-6 JoB with double the usual payout for 4 of a kind.
Rooms and food are cheap - drink service is as fast and as good as you want.
Our long trip is always Christmas - 5 days Laughlin & 5 days Vegas.
