laughlin deals and tips

We will be going to laughlin and would love any info and deals even if just the cheap breakfast/dinners and such. We have been a time or two, but have not explored much. We have just popped in for a concert.

Also interested in any side trips...I know the London bridge is near, but is it really worth the trip? Anything else near it...also some people said a side trip to Oatman??

Appreciate any input or deals. Staying at the Colorado Belle, but we actually go to Arizona Charlie's, so any Aquarius info would be great. Also the Golden Nugget...

Thanks.
LVA Member Rewards book has a coupon for BOGO buffet at Edgewater/Colorado Belle. Also ACG has coupons several coupons for Edgewater/Colorado Belle as well as BOGO for Harrahs Buffet and Beach Café. Harrahs has the only beach on the river but that water is really cold. There is a new Dunkin Donuts that should be finished. We stay at Harrahs and then use the water taxi to get to the other casinos. Haven't done any of the side trips in the area but have checked out the auto collection in the Riverside. Shopping at the Outlet Mall has always been a waste of time. They used to have free wifi in the food court of the Mall but new owners/management discontinued that.
The Aquarius frequently runs promotions that include a free breakfast for 2 with your stay and they have a very good breakfast diner.

Theres not much to do in Laughlin except gamble and enjoy the sunshine. 1 day is usually enough for me.

I had a suite at the Aquarius. You are correct. There was virtually nothing to do. Except for employees, I felt like I was the youngest one at the casino.

If you're into classic cars, the Riverside has a huge collection of them and it is free. While at the Riverside, go up to the Prime Rib Room for dinner, you can thank me later.
Go take the short hike at Christmas Tree Pass. Great weather this time of year. Look at the petroglyphs, but don't damage them.

Golden Nugget is one of my favorite casino's in Laughlin. Many new slots, lots of Video Poker, and a fun atmosphere. Aquarius is the best place to make you feel like your in a Vegas casino. All the rest of the casino's in Laughlin are "stuck" in the eighties!

If you get bored with Laughlin, you are only an hour and a half from Vegas. Take the back way through Searchlight to get there.

Oatman is a good choice. Bring some carrots to feed the burro's. About 40 pounds should be enough. lol

The Loading Dock bar and Grill at the Colorado Belle has a $4,$5,$6 Happy Hour menu from 4-6 PM. The micro brews are $2.50

The Passaggio Italian Restaurant at the Tropicana Laughlin has a bottomless pasta menu with soup/salad/breadsticks for $6.99 every Sun, Mon, Tues.
Go have a meal at Bumbleberry Flats in the Pioneer Casino. Not the cheapest coffee shop in town, but the food is amazing and is not to be missed.

Here's the menu......

Bumbleberry Flats Menu.....so f'n good
Thank you for the suggestions. We are going over for a concert and just wanted to know if we were missing anything in this sleepy town. I am thinking a drive over to Oatman and enjoying the sunshine is the way to go. Will keep in mind the dinner suggestions, I had also seen some of those recommendations elsewhere
