Laughlin trip

The trop Expess is my favorite place to play there as they have a better selection of machines (video poker and slots) than most places IMHO, with decent comps.
We really enjoy going to Laughlin. We land in Vegas, rent a car and drive there for 3 nights before returning back to Vegas. It is much more relaxed and you will have a great time. It's right on the Colorado River and you can actually walk alongside the river alongside the other hotels/casinos. You also can take the little ferry boat from casino to casino.

The Aquarius buffet is great - complimentary wine, beer or margaritas too!!!

If you walk across the street from the Riverside and go to the Tropicana Express (formerly Ramada) there is a bus shuttle that will take you free up to the River Palms Hotel. Laughlin is a nice place to rent a car and sightsee to Oatman (get some literature from their big newspaper in the hotel lobbies) and enjoy the history of this old town.

Yes, Las Vegas is about 90 miles north of Laughlin so a car would be handy. Stop in Searchlight for lunch at their little casino there - still have 10 cent coffee too!

Our annual trips to Vegas wouldn't be the same if we didn't make it a point to visit Laughlin for a few days.
For a fun day trip, consider taking a boat trip down to the London Bridge in Havasu. I did this a few years ago and it was a very enjoyable trip with some great scenery.

If you're going to rent a car, why bother with Vegas. Go to Oatman and see all the mules strolling around the street, and a regularly scheduled gunfight. You might also continue south to Lake Havasu. In September, it will still be plenty warm enough to enjoy your water sports and swimming.

Enjoy.

1. Do get a players card at the Tropicana. Linda is also nice Casino Host if you need to speak to one.
2. Do go to Oatman and see the donkeys! And also put your dollar on the wall at the Oatman Hotel Bar. (Don't forget to write something cute on it!)
3. Do walk the River Walk from Riverside
to the Colorado Bell just as the sun starts to go down. Just beautiful!
4. Do take a Water Taxi to Harrahs just cuz it's fun! (And back!)
5. Rent a boat at Katherines Landing at Lake Mohave 8 miles north of Laughlin and enjoy this sixty mile long lake!
6. If you do rent a car, make sure you go through Bullhead Az to Oatman just to see what a desert town is like! Seems to be a nice place to have a summer home or just to retire and enjoy the water!
7. Don't forget to ask for a river view room!
I highly recommend going to Las Vegas Stipper Poles with your girlfriends!
Our instructor, Dragon is amazing. She's goofy and super friendly.
We all had to choose stripper names and Dragon is so good at helping you with that. Don't be lame and choose something like "Candy" or "Mindy." Be creative! Mine ended up being "Make You Scream My Name" but my friends' names are too inappropriate to post in public. If you leave your camera on the sofa, the staff will come in and take pictures for you. So awesome!!!!

At the end of class, you get a diploma. I can't remember exactly what it says but something to the extent of receiving a bachelors in stripperology. LOL. If you want to do something FUN and DIFFERENT with your friends, I recommend coming here. A little bit of fitness and a ton of fun.
