I think most folks are doing their Christmas shopping on line. We do. Cool jacket, is that you or the heart surgeon modeling that puppy?

We've always wanted to stay at HGVC, it never ever was available for trade. We were always across the alley in back slumming it at summer bay, from the outside looking in so to speak. Those places looked awesome.

I've seen the beef on weck before, DDD maybe? Travel or food channel, anyway, they look incredible. I thought they were dunked, one, two, or three time in the Au Jus, not on the side? Oh yea, that Shake shack burger looked great too, I'm not sure about ten bucks good, but did look good. That reminds me when I finally found a Fatburger at Harveys in Tahoe, when it was all said and done, it was like fifty bucks for the four of us for fast food burgers. Hit an in-and-out in Reno for about twenty bucks for the four of us and it was better.

Great read and great pics PJ!

BTW I'm still thinking of that beef on weck (#2 pic) sub, I'm gettin' hungry. I might have to go buy a roast and slow cook it, make some French dips tomorrow. That thing looked incredible, and filling, thing was huge.

that's a great TR, thanks for posting. on the subject of pretending, when I first started going to vegas nearly 20 years ago, I was kind of chattin / hangin out with a stranger. he turned me on to the idea of pretending so to speak. it has stuck with me all of these years. it makes for a great escape from the daily grind back home for sure.
World renowned heart surgeon...had to laugh at that one. A few years ago I was with a few friends sitting at the counter at Big Al's Oyster Bar at the Orleans after a marathon 6 hour session of drinking and playing Roulette. There were two twin sister strippers sitting next to us and my buddy successfully passed me off as a famous urologist from the Mayo Clinic. At first they were skeptical, but when I found out that they were from the Seattle area, I told them that I had recently given a lecture at the Swedish Medical Center; a hospital located up on Capital Hill in Seattle....I landed them hook, line and sinker!
Interesting TR a little different what why I do : D. I will put Tuscany on my to do list for January.
Ugh I can't edit the post sorry. It should read then what I do. LOL Thanks for the TR.
