Legendary rocker Paul Revere dead at 76. RIP
That was the first concert I ever went to. I was in the fourth grade and my older sister took me and the girl next door to see Paul Revere, Dino, Desi and Billy, Tommy Roe and two local bands at Curtis Hixon Convention Center here in Tampa.

Dino was Dean Paul Martin, Dean's son. Desi is Desi Arnez Junior and Billy was a friend of theirs.

Ticket prices ranged from $2.50 to $4.00.

I think the show might have been anticlimactic for my sister. She was on break from DePaul and having been in Chicago she had already seen The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes and actually attended class with a couple of members of Chicago AKA "The Big Thing" back then.
More of a showman/promotor, as Mark Lindsay was the voice and producer/writer of most the Raiders songs, they were innovators in the mid 60's with a great garage band sound. Three members of the band are gone now with only 2 left. RIP Paul.
